Some people mistaken Jodhpur as the Blue City because of the baby blue buildings that are everywhere, but it is the Sun City. These blue buildings originally referred to the houses of brahmans, but people who were not brahmans still painted their houses blue for blessings. Pretty much 70% of all the buildings are painted blue.
