The day before yesterday, a cameraman and an interviewer came to my host family's house!
I was doing my homework as usual and my host parents abruptly knocked on the door and told me "reporters coming reporters. get ready."
I was confused but I changed and just continued doing homework.
Half an hour or so later, people from ETV came; I already saw them at school that morning.
They told me to wear my Indian clothing (shalwar suit) and I had to pose to be videotaped.
They videotaped my hostfamily and me talking, eating, and playing chess.
I also had to go into the puja room (room for worshipping) and hold incense in my hand and pray.
It wasn't exactly a natural setting but I enjoyed it (although I didn't get any homework done that night)
In fact, they're visiting only two host families and I was quite honored to be one of them.
According to the cameraman, parts of the video clips are going to be on the news - he said either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
Tomorrow was yesterday and today is the day after tomorrow - I could have missed it because I went to bed at 9 last night and he was telling us that it was going to be a 9:30 news.
We'll see - if I watch on the tv, I'll use my camera to record it.
I don't have school today, or tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow!
Then on Sunday, I'm off to Rajasthan!!!
Rajasthan is considered to be the "real Indian state" with vibrant culture - bright colors, pointy traditional shoes, magnificent sites, etc.
We'll also visit Agra!!
Taj Mahal has been my passion and I'm really excited to see it!!!!
